This is an exciting time to be a part of the North London Collegiate family of schools. For over 160 years the London school has remained at the forefront of academic excellence and it’s alumnae have gone on to assume leading roles across all sectors. It would have been easy to remain content in this prestigious corner of north London; but as an outward-looking school with globally-minded students, we recognise the benefits that a family of international schools can bring, to all of our students right across the globe.
With this in mind, we were invited to open our first overseas campus on Jeju Island, South Korea in 2011, which rapidly established itself as one of the leading international schools in North East Asia. Next was the Dubai school which opened in 2017, bringing the North London Collegiate ethos to the Middle East. We are now entering our third year of operation in Dubai and have very high aspirations for our first cohort of IB students who will graduate later this year. At NLCS we are committed to forging substantial links between our schools, and to this end our teachers and students enjoy frequent opportunities to interact – through the sharing of best practices, online learning activities, debates and staff / student exchanges.
But the story does not end here and as part of a carefully planned programme NLCS will be opening our latest campus in Singapore in September 2020.
All NLCS international schools retain a deep connection to our London ’mother’ school, and an unremitting commitment to replicating the NLCS quality and ethos. The London school has a key role in recruiting and training our teaching staff and we benefit from regular monitoring visits and inspections.
