In the Junior School, more than 100 extra-curricular activities run each week providing an inspiring array for students to choose from.
The extra-curricular programme runs at four different times meaning that students take part in activities with peers of the same age and activities are age-appropriate, but with sufficient challenge and rigour.
Our current timetable is as follows:
Grades 2- 5 have their ECAs after school from 3.20 – 4.00pm. The First School run the programme as enrichment as part of their provision as the last session of the day.

We have clubs such as ballet, Mandarin, karate, sailing, golf, Science club, STEAM, chess, coding and robotics, in addition to recreational and squad sports such as tennis, football, netball, cricket and swimming. Students compete in the DASSA leagues in various sports including athletics, aquathlon, cross-country, football, netball, rounders and swimming.
The Arts are a key feature of life at NLCS Dubai and in addition to orchestra, choir and Drama clubs, students have the opportunity to enroll in private music and drama (Trinity) lessons which sees students participate in various concerts and productions throughout the year. Each student is encouraged to develop new skills, interests and passions to help achieve a broad and balanced education.
