North London Collegiate School Dubai is delighted to announce that our esteemed Vice Principal Pastoral Care, Emma Dawson, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the first ever TES Awards for International Schools.
These awards highlight the most outstanding schools and teachers the global education community has to offer.
The shortlisted finalists have been selected by a panel of expert judges including school leaders, experts, and education researchers. After rigorous judgement from a strict set of criteria, it has been revealed that Emma Dawson, Vice Principal Pastoral Care has been shortlisted for the Leadership award. The judges’ objectivity, professionalism, and high standards will help establish winning the awards as an achievement highly sought after.
The shortlisted schools and teachers are representing 36 countries across the world.

Since joining NLCS Dubai in 2019, Emma Dawson has been pivotal in shaping the school’s ethos and identity, emphasizing student care, support and safety. Her dedication to maintaining high personal standards and nurturing other leaders has profoundly impacted our school community.
Emma’s leadership of the pastoral programme is characterised by her infectious drive and enthusiasm.
