This week, in the Senior School, we have held the first NLCS Dubai House Debating Competition. All Houses performed brilliantly in the round robin matches with Jais and Hafeet making it to the final. Debating the motion; ‘This house does not believe capitalism makes us happy’, both teams made excellent arguments both for and against the motion but it was Jais, by just one point, who emerged victors.
