NLCS Dubai proudly celebrated the 47th anniversary of the Union of The United Arab Emirates. Students and their families were able to enjoy traditional Emirati hospitality and entertainment, learn about the culture and heritage of the UAE and visit our Arabic and UAE exhibition. Students in both the Junior and Senior Schools have led assemblies, produced an art installation and have been focusing on the Arabic language in lessons. They have also attended workshops with a visiting Arabic author and musician during the week. We would like to thank the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, our Emirati families and of course our school family for their assistance in creating a wonderful week of celebrations for our entire community!
