Term 3 ended with the NLCS Dubai Art Festival – a week-long extravaganza of all things artistic! Senior School students immersed themselves in an incredibly diverse artistic programme; including workshops with our artist-in-residence, in contemporary dance and with professional groups teaching stage combat and choir. Other School departments also got involved with sessions on creative writing and calligraphy. Preparations for the House Drama competition came to a climax, as final touches were being made to costumes for the Fantasy Fashion catwalk. The whole week produced an amazing display of imagination, creativity and flair with everyone embracing the inclusive school ethos of “try yourself” – and culminating in a foot-stomping, energy-filled, finale as the whole Senior School sang together.
